I was born on October 24, 1975 in Kolomna. This is medium-sized city with more than 800 years history about hundred kilometers south-east from Moscow. It stays on the crossing of two rivers: Oka and Moscow-river. This lucky position made my hometown a trading center and important fortress in the past. Our Kremlin is just a few years younger then famous Kremlin of Moscow. In my opinion, it is simply one of the best cities in the world.

Родился в Коломне Московской области 24 октября 1975 года. Там же закончил школу и по сей день часто возвращаюсь в свой родной город. Коломна - старинный русский город с более чем 800 летней историей, расположенный на слиянии Москва-реки и Оки примерно в 100 километрах к юго-востоку от Москвы. Исторически Коломна была важным торговым центром и крепостью на границе Московского и Рязанского княжеств, наш Кремль ненамного моложе московского.

I am fun of the cross-country skiing and prefer snowy winter to other seasons. From my point of view the cold weather is preferable to the hot one, since when it is cold you always can dress according to weather, but when it is HOT... (well, there is some natural limits to undressing :)). And then, this whitest (but with innumerable shadows of colors) snow covering everything around is simply beautiful. And the silence of the winter forest. And the freshness of the cold air filling your lungs.

Из всех сезонов предпочитаю снежные зимы, люблю кататься на лыжах. Наверное поэтому и физикой низких температур занялся. Как у классика: "Здоровью моему полезен русский холод...". Опять же, когда холодно - оденешься потеплее, печку включишь и комфортно. А вот когда жарко - никуда не денешься. Так что зима лучше.

Проведя полтора года в Гренобле, видел красоту Альп и зимой и летом - но дома все таки лучше :)
